Youths Need a Solid Envrionment:
- Youths need a supportive envrionment to be able to discuss current social, digital, and influential pressures they face.
- Youths need a place to be heard, seen, and not judged; to express the problems they face.
- Youths need reinforcement through a positive mindset, based on their effort and willing to learn.
Youths Need Someone:
- Youths need someone to listen to them, provide insight and nurturing, as well as constructive feedback and reflection.
- Youths need affirmations rather than labels.
- Youths need realistic expectations based on their values, beliefs, and capabilities.
Youths Need You:
- Youths need support, guidance, and empowerment from poeple who care.
- Overall, youths need parents and mentors who are consistent, clear, but fair and adaptable. Letting youths make their own decisions and own mistakes. However, support them when they do, and provide postiive constructive feedback.
